My House is an historical loft restored in 2007. It’s located in the South East area of Venice-Mestre at 10 minutes by car from Piazzale Roma (Venice car terminal) and at 18 minutes from the main Airport Marco Polo in Tessera Venice. The residence Prua, where the loft is located, and the entire surroundings are really fascinating and precious. The entrance of My House is facing the Dock and the canal located at the back of the prestigious Hotel Laguna Palace. The canal which is surrounding the entire area creates an atmosphere very close to the City of Doges. The space in the loft is divided in ground floor and mezzanine and all together measures 120 sqm completely covered of a wooden floor. The light coming from the windows on the roof makes a cosy environment even if it’s sunny and clear. At the entrance you’ll be welcoming from the spacious living and cooking area and the first thing which will come to your eyes will be the American table with stools. The cooker is made in ceramic glass, there is a big black sink , a multi- options cooking oven/microwave and dish washer. Under the stairs there is a big refrigerator with a drink dispenser. Walking to the back through the small corridor you’ll get in the dining room with fire place, a crystal table and a comfortable sofa bed. Along the corridor there are 2 glass doors, one opens into the bathroom with shower, the other into the laundry room with washing machine and dryer. At the first floor, by the stair on the left, you’ll get to the main bedroom, just before there are a bathroom with a big bath tub and a wardrobe room. Still on the first floor but in a separate space from the sleeping area, there is the studio with computer and library. We’ll leave for you 2 bicycles, one for a man and the other for a woman. By bike you can reach in a few minutes the commercial area for your shopping or the closest SuperMarket Cà D’Oro, to the Post Office or to the Train Station and get one of the very frequent trains to reach Venice in about 10 minutes.
